JUST NOW, Delhi High Court has extended the due date for filing Income Tax Return and Tax Audit Report for AY 2013-14 upto OCTOBER 31, 2013 for ALL the Audit Cases. This is as per verbal sources and needs verification. SO NO PENALTY FOR THOSE WHO MISSED THE DEADLINE!!! If anyone having the Court Order, Kindly Share.

we fully support the stand of the professionals that it is very meaning less to extention of audit report on line filing and mandating the mannual audit report submitting.
due to monsoon in gujrarat since last 3-4 days life is intrupputed and badly affected and even many people are not able to meet the basic needs in this condition how the itr can be filed
there is no power and since 3 days roads are blocked how the govt dont understand the problems.
u must extend the date of filing of itr also . it is very very very much prectile to extend the itr date.

Really did not understand the intent of this notification. If it can be filed manually by filling up the requisite forms, it could also be loaded if the server is functional. Please donot extend and if it should donot impose any conditionalities

It is the result of promoting and recruiting the officer based on cast. This is unfair. Even the officer recruitment is unfair, wherein a bad performing student gets a seat and a good performing does not get. What can you expect out of these cast protected babus “GIGO”. GOD GOD GOD PLEASE SAVE THIS COUNTRY.

CBDT has made changes in programme for e-filing of audit report upto 23.09.13. We are sitting all the day and night to prepare audit report and they are not getting uploaded as the CBDT has changed the programme frequently. Now they want we shall furnish hard copy befor 30/09. It is again duplication of work. This being first year, and fault is from their side, they must apologise and extend date for e-filing of audit report and ITR upto 31.10.13. Further request not to make further changes in uploading programme.

  8. Vikram Aggarwal says:

The new ITR forms got introduced in June 2013 and frequent changes were made to the Form 3cd and ITRs. This notification just reflects the state of the governance in the country and how casual the officers and ill informed are they about the ground realities.

    God ! Save this country

Super foolish attempt, how we can reinstate time lost in uploading the reports in the complicated software. How we can finalize the returns in such a short time., when filing electronically is compulsory before 30oct.2013, then filing manually before 30th sept.,is nonsense.OhGod give something inside their brains.

  12. KS says:

The order uses the term ‘may’ with regards to manual filing. Which means it is not mandatory.

Again confusion!!!!! we need to wait for another order to clarify this. Which I am sure will complicate things further…Shabby drafting!!

  13. S PRAKASH says:

THe order of the HEADLESS bureaucracy- the return should be furnished along with the audit report. Why such an order at this point of time.Kindldy do not extend the date.So that you can levy the penalty and collect lot of money for these politicions to spend in scams knot known to common persons of INDIA.
